The Studio

CatMind Studio is an independent publishing studio for people who live with cats and adore them. We follow the research on feline minds, bodies and bonds wherever it leads, and write it down with warmth, with sources, and with the mystery left intact.

What we believe

Science does not explain the wonder away. It deepens it. When a study finds that cats form secure attachments to their people, or that a slow blink is a true signal, it gives words to something you have felt all along.

How we work

Every article names its sources. Where the evidence is young, we say so — 'research suggests', not 'science proves'. We do not diagnose. For anything medical, your vet is the partner, and our guides are made to bring the two of you into a richer conversation about the cat you share.

Where it comes from

Everything here begins in the peer-reviewed literature — attachment research, feline ethology, veterinary behaviour science. When a finding is young or contested, we say so. The studio's editorial background is in psychology. We publish under the studio's name.

The guides

Everything in the Library is designed for paper: light backgrounds, ink-friendly colours, real margins, fillable fields where they help. Each guide ends with a page called 'The science behind this guide'. The guides are for personal use; if you run a practice, a shelter or a cattery, we would love to hear from you.
